The Team

Kevin joined Hughes/Lawson Physical Therapy in 2000.  Then, in 2010, Kevin and KC became partners, changing the name first to Hughes/Brogan Physical Therapy, and now, renaming the facility Cornerstone Physical Therapy after moving to our new, current location in 2016.  He began his education at CSU, Fresno in the field of athletic training, earning his BS degree while working with Fresno State athletics.  He attended graduate school at CSU, Fresno as well, completing his Master’s degree in physical therapy in 1998.  Kevin has actively studied the Functional Manual Therapy™ approach through the Institute of Physical Art, Inc., sitting for their certification examination, earning Honors in 2010, becoming the first CERTIFIED FUNCTIONAL MANUAL THERAPIST™ in the Central Valley.  He now is an associate faculty member for the Institute, teaching the Functional Mobilization 1 course.  Kevin and wife Lisa, have 6 children between them and love the outdoors, hiking and relaxing in the mountains. Kevin also enjoys recreational cycling, golf, and is active in his local church.

Ted has been a licensed physical therapist since 2012 and is co-owner of Cornerstone Physical Therapy. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at CSU Fresno. He earned a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, with an Exercise Science option, and a Master's in Physical Therapy--graduating Summa Cum Laude. He is a board-certified specialist in Orthopaedics. Ted is a Los Banos, CA native where many of his family members still live. He has been married to his beautiful bride, Dianna, since 2011. They have three children and attend the Well Community Church where they are actively involved in small groups and other volunteer opportunities. During his spare time, Ted enjoys traveling, golfing, snowboarding, cycling, and playing the guitar. He also regularly attends continuing education courses to gain further knowledge and skills in the advancing field of physical therapy.

Michelle started at Cornerstone PT in 2017.  Michelle completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at CSU, Northridge.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education and Physical Therapy and her Master of Physical Therapy in 2001.  She then completed her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013 from the University of St. Augustine.  Michelle has taken numerous continuing education courses to assist her growth as an outpatient physical therapist.  She recently relocated from San Luis Obispo where she completed 13 years of outpatient experience.  She and her husband Chad, are recent newlyweds and Michelle is now a bonus mom.  During her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family traveling to Truckee, skiing, snowmobiling and spending time in the outdoors.

Kevin started at Cornerstone in 2021. Kevin completed his undergraduate degree at CSU, Fresno with a Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy. He attended graduate school at San Diego State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Kevin has taken numerous continued education courses to assist his growth as a physical therapist including courses through the Institute of Physical Art and Recovering Function pertaining to soft tissue mobilization and neuromuscular facilitation. Kevin has been married to his beautiful bride, Chelsie since 2017. They are new parents, recently welcoming their first baby boy, Jackson Taylor August, 30, 2022.  They attend Via Church where they actively participate in life groups and volunteer opportunities. During his spare time Kevin enjoys spending time with his bride, being outdoors, working out, and traveling to the Central Coast.

Kelly is the newest addition to the CPT Team. A native of the Valley, Kelley attended CSU Fresno where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1995 and Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 1997. With over 26 years of clinical experience, she has completed extensive continuing education in and has worked in the fields of orthopedics, geriatrics, and women’s health. She has managed multiple outpatient PT clinics throughout the Valley. Additionally, she has worked in the home health care setting, which has provided several years of experience in treating cancer patients, enabling them to regain strength and endurance towards achieving their functional mobility goals. Kelley has been married to her husband, Mark, for 11 years. In 2016, their lives were forever blessed when they adopted a wonderful little girl named Debbie. Together, they love traveling and especially enjoy camping at the coast and the mountains. The family golden retriever, Phoebe, is always in tow and eager to explore new hiking trails. The Havens family is very involved in their church activities. Kelley has been a featured speaker at various women’s conferences in their church community throughout California and Texas.

With a background in Education, Aubri comes to the team with ten+years of communication experience. A Sunbird at heart, she received her BA in Liberal Studies (2010) and her Master's in English (2012) from Fresno Pacific University. She has been an FPU Instructor since 2013 teaching communications and writing classes as well as classes in the Biblical Studies, History, and Literature disciplines. Prior to joining the CPT team in 2023, she taught Leadership, Christian Worldviews, and Church History full-time at Fresno Christian High School. Aubri has been married to her husband John for 23 years. They have two adult daughters, Danielle & Madilyn. Danielle recently married her high school sweet-heart, graduated with her Elementary Teaching Degree & Credential from GCU, and is back in the Valley teaching 2nd Grade at Fresno Christian. Madilyn is a Sophomore at GCU and spends her summers working for Hume Lake Christian Camps. As active members, both John and Aubri love their church, TheWell, serving in multiple ways. They also are very active at Hume Lake where John serves as a board member. They met at Hume and called Hume home for 5-years. Serving Christ together is their joy.

Megan joined Cornerstone in 2021 as an Aide and has been an integral part of the CPT team ever since. Working towards earning her degree from Grand Canyon University in Hospitality, she contributes daily as the Administrative Assistant and Insurance Specialist. She has 3+years experience calling and verifying insurance information for patients and the clinic. She is familiar with the complex and ever evolving insurance world and works to help our clinical and billing team treat their patients to the fullest extent of their benefits. She handles subpoena processing and assists Aubri with the patient intake process. Megan is a proud dog mom of her precious Beau and enjoys quiet nights at home snuggled up watching classic Disney films. She is well on her way to visiting all the Disney Parks of the World and thinks that Paris, Disney is spectacular!
